A very nice and friendly hotel; great rooms with good beds, and the possibility of ocean view rooms.
The staff at the frontdesk is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean.
I stayed in the hotel 7 weeks, and every evening I saw a 'private' sunset from my balcony.
They have a restaurant with good food and reasonable prices, and sometimes live music in the evenings.
There is also a swimmingpool with a lot of chairs.

Hotel Rosita was exactly what I was looking for in a winter escape.
An affordable and relaxing vacation.
The hotel staff are all incredibly friendly and the rooms are very clean.
The restaurant and pool area is very nice and both overlook the ocean.
If you are looking for a fancy, luxurious resort, go elsewhere.
If you want a simple escape this is it.

A lovely well maintained beach-front hotel in Puerto Vallarta, just off the Malecon boardwalk.
Rooms are nicely appointed, although a bit dated.
Most rooms have a small balcony on the side of the building with some bay view.
Bathrooms are spacious and the beds are good, although you may want to ask for an extra blanket....or open the door to the balcony.
Staff is friendly and English is spoken.
the restaurant is pleasant and although I only ate once there, the food was good and well prepared.
there are plenty of food choices and shopping nearby I was told that this is the oldest hotel in puerto Vallarta (most of the older hotels seemed to have been torn down and rebuilt).
I felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area.

The excellent rating is for what this hotel is - a simple Mexican hotel.
It is the oldest hotel in PV but it is comfortable and the staff is very good.
If you want to experience PV this is the place to stay.
At the north end of the Malecón you are close to everything in downtown PV.

There is a wide range of room types so check the room before you settle in.

We have stayed here every year for the last 8 or 9 years.

We are returning in a couple of weeks.
